Today was another FULL DAY!!! We are packing so much into this trip and our team is exceeding my expectations in their commitment to do everything heartily as unto the Lord! We had the opportunity to continue our work on the Elder Home with more painting and roofing. These people have touched our hearts and many of the students have taken a special interest in these dear people in writing them notes and giving them small gifts. They really appreciate what we are doing for them and we love being able to serve.
In the afternoon, we had the privilege of going back to the Orphanage and having a time of singing, Bible teaching, and games with the children. It still amazes me how willingly they run up to us and love us unconditionally and without reservation. What a rebuke! We have really enjoyed our time with them, and all of us will be so sad to leave them. They have truly touched our lives.
In the evening, we went to a special dinner with great Guatemalan music and some video clips about the Hope of Life Mission. It is absolutely amazing what God is doing through this ministry and how hundreds of babies are being rescued in the mountains every year from certain death and starvation. We also had a chance to share testimonies with everyone about how this trip has impacted us as well as a group song.
Today we have had a great chance to do some more ministry in another village, and I will post some more pictures later. Thank you again to everyone who is praying - God is doing great things and we are so glad to be used in His service!
