| The Opportunity of a Lifetime! |
From March 3-12, The TCS Senior class, school sponsors, and I will be taking a ten day study tour of the Holy
Land of Israel.
This will not be a mere sightseeing experience, but the culmination of
my educational experience at Timberlake Christian School. We will be traveling
to sites that are described in both the Old and New Testament and seeing God’s
living Word unfold before our very eyes!
As we spend our time at each site, we will be looking intently into the
Scriptures and seeking to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ. We also will have
the opportunity to follow Christ in His footsteps as He taught His disciples in
Capernaum and Galilee, prayed to God the Father in Gethsemane, walked the
Calvary Road to die on the cross, and rise victoriously from the empty
tomb. It is also our desire to gain a
heart for God’s people in Israel and to pray that their eyes would be open to
the Truth of the Gospel so that they would repent of their sin and believe on
Jesus, their Messiah.
Above all, we desire as a team to have our Lord
and Savior glorified in all we do. We
know that this trip will not be successful without God’s power, wisdom, and
guidance. We humbly ask that you make a
serious commitment to partner with us in prayer that this trip would be a great
time of spiritual growth in our lives!
We hope to share pictures and journal entries each day that we are in Israel, so that you can join us in the journey. See you in Israel!
