Each day continues to build upon the next! We had a big and powerful day touring the city of Jerusalem.  We began by climbing through Hezekiah’s tunnel, which dates back to 2 Kings 20 when Hezekiah wanted to get the water moving into the city to avoid being attacked. After this, we went to Caiaphas’ house where Jesus was taken from the Garden of Gethsemane to be tried and imprisoned.  We actually went to the prison cell itself and sang “When I Survey the Wondrous Cross” together.  It was moving to ponder what anguish and scorn the Savior endured for us.

Upon leaving this place, we spent the rest of the day touring the city of Jerusalem and seeing the palace of Herod the Great, the Western Wall (aka wailing wall), and seeing thousands of years of history.

Today is our last full day. We’ll be touring Jerusalem more, but will climax at the Garden tomb where Christ rose from the dead!
