Hello everyone! We are excited to announce that our new baby, Jonas Mark Conley has finally arrived. He was born at 8:00 am today and weighed in at 8lbs. 2 oz. He is 20 inches long and is doing very well. Shannon is doing well and is recovering from the c-section. Thank you for your prayers and constant encouragement!
We named him Jonas because of its significance in Scripture. In Hebrew it can take on several meanings (like "dove" or "peaceful"), but one of the most prominent meanings is seen in this phrase: "He accomplishes." His middle name is after mine, which means "warrior" or "defender." It is our prayer that he would truly live out the meanings of his names by accomplishing God's will and defending the truth of God's Word.
